Ive bought the box set of neocron 2, but i dont hav a credit card, is there any way it will let me pay with splash plastic and i dont have to pay for the game or i lose my free months trial?

any help greatly appreciated :)

p.s Would a debit card work (visa electron)

Hi. PayByCash accept Splash Plastic as a method of payment so my advice would be to check them out through the account creation page. :)

i know pbc take splash plastic but thx anyway, but the problem is i bought the box set and when i go onto account creation and the chose box set and go through all the steps it directs me to c2p which u need a credit card for and of course i havnt got one.

its possible for me to download the 14 day trial and create an account by credit card?

Do you mean can you download the client and play the usual 10 day trial before entering credit card details ? No. Even if you buy the box, you still need to show a method of payment that can be taken off you if/when you continue after your first 10 days.
But if you do cancel when the 10 days are over, then no money is taken.

i think you indirectly answered my question

what i meant was this:
if i download the trial client, play through the 10 days and let KK charge my card, will it be just as if i bought the retail box and created account that way?

or

Is purchasing the retail box a requirement to play?

But im guessing i can download the trial client and pay by credit card for a full account that way, INSTEAD of ordering a box from europe.

Ah i see, no, the box isn't a requirement. But the box set comes with the first month's subscription included (CC still required of course), at least it used to.

It will only amount to a Euro or two in difference, though. And you can get a .pdf version of the manual. So all in all, it's probably easier and quicker to DL.

well, i used a visa check card(atm with visa logo) to pay for the game. that sounds alot like what u r talking about with your visa atm. it works the same as visa but the funds r taken from your bank account. so try the visa atm card, what do u have to loose? all it can say is no :D

Both come with a free month after payment (trial 10 days plus 3 weeks) but generally you'll find the box version for much cheaper.

Attempted to charge a credit card through click to pay. Filled in all the information and when all done got the message;

"Invalid Credit Card"

even though we've used the card today just fine. Attempted at 8:50pm central on friday night December 2nd. Attempted several times, would not accept credit card.

Any help would be appriecated.

I had the same problem and checked with my bank. They said Click2pay had tried to make a $7 cash advance charge on the card, and the bank have a $20 minimum for cash advance charges.

It's strange that Click2pay tried to make any charge at all, when onscreen it clearly shows a 0 Euro charge to be made, and doubly strange that they should try it as a cash advance - I didn't think third parties could make cash advance charges on credit cards. And trying to make a charge on a credit card without the cardholder's knowledge - isn't that fraud?

I've since found several threads with people encountering the same problem. I've emailed neocron support asking why Click2pay are trying to make this unusual charge for the "free" trial and if it's possible to access the free trial any other way.
