I am thinking of getting this game but I have one slight problem....I can't find it. Now this comes as no shock to me seeing as it is really a foreign release since I am in the US. I even checked with the largers online sites such as EBGames and GameStop and neither had Neocron 2....nor anything related to it. I have tried searching on the net for a good game importer but have yet been able to find one. I know if I do the 10 day demo and do not cancel after 10 days I will be charged for the software and can get it that way but I also know that when you go that way you usually get charged much more for the software than if you bought a boxed copy. Any help on a source to purchase this in the US would be much appreciated.

try finding a trustworthy german who sends you the game .. its available for as low as 5 bucks (boxed version) over here... add shipping + money transfer costs and you should be still well below the ~35 bucks you'd pay for an import :p
you can get it for 8,99 at amazon.de .. didnt find it on amazon US tho =/

Looks like $17.54 shipped...so all in all not bad. I have not ordered yet but I will if I like it after taking the 10 day free trial. I just could not see letting them bill me full price for the game when I can get it for alot less even with shipping. hehe

What u do is , BEFORE your 10day trial is up , cancel your acc , get the box , then email account@neocron.com with your nc2 trial acc and your box cd key , they will then link them , works out a whole lot better as u also get the 30day free that comes with the box version (this is what i did :P). remeber cancel before 10days is up or u will get charged.

OK...now I am confused. The software on SSO is or is not Neocron2? Am I to understand that there is a difference befween Neocron 2 and Neocron BDOY? I guess what I need clarification on before I order anything is what do I get to get a key for the same game as is the trial version of the game. Another way to put it I guess is is the software from SSO everything I need to load and play the game in one box or is it just some sort of expansion pack?

Neocron 1 was released. DON'T BUY IT! now defunct.

Then Evo2.1 PATCH for neocron 2 was released. EVO2.1 is just a huge patch so large they called it evo2.1.
A full game client including this patch is available for download.
Or you can buy NC2:BDOY and Patch it at no cost :D
