Noob Questions!!!

Hi guys

I'm new here, and am thinking of moving from Face of Mankind, so I've got a few questions.

1: How does trade work in the game is it possible to trade with other players in any way other than walking up to them in the street and hassling them? also is it possible to mine or harvest materials in any way.

2: Can money be made easily through trading?

3: on average how many people would I see in say the plaza in one hour of gaming between 6-12pm UK time.

4: I'm the type of player who lives for PvP in groups and alone, would there be a place for me to join a clan casually without having to be online every day without penalty, as at the minute face of mankind can be demanding, and I like to go wild occasionally and go off and take out a few enemies lone wolf without some fellow players going "thats not correct".

So convince me, I've followed Neocron from the begging just haven't had an internet connection. I've been sold from the start, I just need a nudge to be shoved out of the plane!!! :D

to trade with people you pretty much have to walk up and trade

you can find rareparts in certain monsters that can be built into powerfull weapons

theres no mining...or harvesting nodes or anything like htat

prolly 1-100 people passing through in a night for the trade you offer...depending on your tradeskills(people need new implants every time they die and need repairs often...however each person only needs a weapon built once...or researched once. so the first two would see considerably more people(although for no where near as much money) than the latter)

most people who play neocron fit your playstyle...however some clans are more demanding than others

internal clan politics will dictate weather or not youll get into trouble with your clan for killing someone ...allthough for the most part...if you feel like killing someone ...do it

NC has its own trade channel with people advertising sales or services you then contact them and meet in person to carry out the transaction, although there are Tradeskiller areas where most hang out like Plaza 1 or Tech Haven.

2: Can money be made easily through trading?

Yes if you don't mark your product up too much you can still make a healthy profit, from tips for repair, recycling and poking. Or payment for researching or building weapons. Another useful skill is high level barter who buys stuff a lot cheaper from NPC's which can create a nice saving for the buyer and thus a better profit on resale to other players.


3: on average how many people would I see in say the plaza in one hour of gaming between 6-12pm UK time.

Usually around 10-15 people in Plaza all the time :p unless an event or major OP war is on but then they will all be back for poking :D

OK if your killing Enemiy factions i don't know any clan that would moan ;) ....but if your into killing allieds or ganking noobs then some clans find issues with this and you would be booted. Although a common way around this is to have an unclanned char to do the dirty work as you get 4 slots.
Clans vary from the most demanding to thse who play when they play, just ask around to find one in game to suit your style.

I'm not into to ganking noobs or allied players, in fact I'm against that.

When I say take out a few enemies I do mean the enemy... and anyonw who starts a fight. as long as I don't have to argue the toss with people who shoot you first, FOM unfortunately you get attacked you kill the perpertrator and he whines like a stuck pig! For Neocrons sake take it like a Man! o_O

Well I have the boxed Neocron 2 in my hand, all I have to do now is get a Credit Card, I have a debit card but Click2pay only has a selection for Credit Cards.

I beleive the Click to pay option is tied to the boxed version although i read here somewhere it may be possible to start on Pay by cash if you maill KK.
