Welcome to the balance discussion forum!
We will use these forums to introduce discussions on certain topics relating to the game’s balance, and improvements in the game’s overall flexibility.
Here’s how this will be done.
• Each week we will put a couple of topics up for discussion. The topics can range from specific class issues to skills, items and more. The topics will explain the current situation and suggest possible improvements.
• The topics will be posted in English and German, in the respective forums.
• All customers are encouraged to discuss the current topics, to tell us their own ideas for improvements, comment on the proposed improvements or generally comment on the issue, as long as it is relevant to the topic!
• Since your input will be processed by us, we’d like you to please stick to the topics. Non-constructive posts, flames or random comments will be removed by the forum moderation team to keep these threads manageable.
• It is our goal to post daily updates in both the English and German forums. However, this may not always be possible, so please do not be discouraged if there is no daily update.
• Most discussions will run for one week. There will be exceptions for some topics that will require more time though. When we close a discussion, we will post a general conclusion including our final plans for changes concerning that topic.
• Once the changes are on the test server, discussions will of course be re-opened to allow for feedback, and any possible further improvements.
Jason ‘Dirus’ Lehman will be in charge of the discussions on the English forum and the German forums will be covered by staff at the Reakktor main office in Germany. We will cover the events from both forums in our daily updates, in an effort to keep them both somewhat in sync. However, as Dirus is in Canada and mainly active from 02:00GMT to 07:00 GMT, there will be some time zone issues, as well as delays with regards to translations between English and German feedback. Please note that we do not favor one specific community over the other and that information will inevitably be available on one forum earlier than the other at times. As mentioned above, we will try to bring the forums back to the same level with the daily updates.
Keep in mind that these discussions are a tool for the developers to process your feedback on important issues. So please stay on topic, keep it civil and try to stay constructive. Otherwise your posts may be ignored or deleted and you are wasting precious time.
With that being said, we are looking forward to have fruitful discussions!
