In 2.1 you could make a link directly to the "client.exe" to start neocron bypassing the launcher.

In 2.2 Even if you patch with the launcher first, you CANNOT do this otherwise you get "client has newer version than server". For some reason you must start the client from the 2.2 patch launcher rather than directly starting the client.exe.

Thought kk could find use from this

Dude read the instructions.

You need 2 seperate NC installations.

You can't patch NC to the test server versions, then expect it to work on the 2.1 servers :S

... That's if I understood your post correctly.

no hes pointing out if you run the client.exe on the 2.2 install it has a problem with the version number, it needs to be ran from the launcher
