Seriously, get rid of it. Or at least lower the nerf ALOT. Right now it's like a holy para hitting you.
It's all about who breaks the legs first wins. There's absolutely no chance anymore once your legs have been taken out.
I remember, some time back, where KK officials were saying that their intentions is to stop this from happening, yet its even more present (effect) in 2.2 as is in 2.1
I agree its total crap the way it works in 2.1 is perfect, the way it is in 2.2 is just really annoying, if you put this in retail. You will have made it easyer for groups of gankers to kill just about anyone they please, in 2.2 once your legs are gone you don't have much chance of healing them.

Humm my fear is it becoming to common, I mean get real in RL you don't have people going for the legs in order to kill them. I know I might look stupid when I meantion real life in this but it really should not be so easy to break another players legs. I think maybe certain weapons should be more affective at leg breaking, like your SH for instance. In this game we have special armor and shields so to break through that, I think should take either a high powered rifle like the SH or a heavy combat cannon. It would make more sence and would be alot more balanced imo, since heavy combat tanks are slow with weapons out.
But pistols and other lower powered weapons should not be breaking peoples legs in such a hurry?
Yes it's really annoying, and the worst is, you can do absolutely nothing against it! If you get a para you can take at least an antidrug.
Get rid of it is not necessary, we just need a possibility to do something against it or something to prevent it. One idea is, any running heal no matter if selfheal or foreign heal should stop/prevent broken legs IMMEDIATELY.

Well this issue has been listed in the "updated bug report" list of issues to be "adjusted" so hopefully that will happen soon.
Yes, this issue is allready changed and will go live with the next patch.
It is changed to a relative figure - if you get under 40 percentage health you'll lowered down in speed. But not as much as it is now :D

dunno but it ticks me off. If i shoot yeh in the leg with a farking high-speed 7.62mm explosive sniper rifle shell i damn well expect you to be limpin :lol:

They fixed the 3 target zones head, body, legs. So now hitting the head will do more damage and hitting the legs will reduce runspeed. As it always was intended. It was just never working.
It's properly working now, just it's too easy to break legs and the runspeed nerf once they are gone is way too high.

That happens in 2.1
headshots do more damage, legshots slow people down.

because it is the same as paraing people but with skill and without mana penalties... over all it kills gameplay focused in pvp
and no matter how reasonable this is, I can still listen to voices mixing reality with this game. It is a game guys get used to that. In reality if one takes a single shot in head he dies. This is how BF and the rest games are played...
in 2.1 the damage multiplier is taken from the hitbox the damage is done to, e.g. you hit the legs and do lower damage, hitbox is empty -> damage transferred to torso so you do normal damage while still aiming at the feet, when this hitbox is empty damage is transferred to the head and you get the damage bonus of that while still shooting the legs. apart from that i think you're right and the speednerf you get in 2.1 for broken legs already is high enuff, there was no need to change that imo.
We've changed some things for the weighting of health to the single hitzones, we've changed the total health, we've added the modifiers for head and legs. So we've had to adjust some things - i.e. the 'Breaking Legs Issue'!
This means 40 percentage of the hitzone legs (not 40 % of total health)!
