Well re-freshing shields is working as intended since patch 163 (allowed to re-cast after some dmg has been taken)
- Conditions for overcast changed/fixed: The buff's strength has to be stronger than 125 % of the existing one and the duration has to be equal or longer
But this is now working out in an inconvenient manner with each shields ending up with different timers:
Example:
Chaos Cave hunting
Casts shields Deflector+Protector (pierce+poison)
..after 60 sec fighting (protector has lost 20% , Deflector has lost 5%)
..thus we now overcast Protector (but cannot overcast deflector due to not enough lost)
...
..then Deflector wears off on original timer , and we want to re-cast all shields. We cast Deflector , but cant cast Protector because it hasnt lost enough to be overcast
..result is now we have a fresh (3 min deflector, but only a 1 min Protector)
Only solution is to Antibuff all shields before doing a full shield re-fresh.

Overall I think this will become quite inconvenient particularly when shielding team mates, and in cases when you need to use all 3 shield types , with every shield eventually ending up on a seperate timer.
In PvP to optimally support one runner , you will need to be overcasting seperate shields as you see the dmg types being taken, since the decay is quite fast now (ie: a few hits of HL = new absorber needed ) But doing this will make the default timers of the other shields out of sync so you will need to HAB whenever you want to do a co-ordinated re-set of the timers.

Would be a lot more convenient if the buff strength just needed to be 100% or better, then you could re-fresh all 3 shields together whenever you need to overcast one.
Or even just have the over-cast to not re-set the timer so you can have all 3 on the same original timer ......
