Im serious! Melee/HC PE's need some str and a marine gives less than a physics1 !
Increase it to the same levels as old SF/psi core and so on. You might also consider lowering its tl a few strs down.
Gotta agree with this had to nerf my HC tank setups when converting to 2.2 one of the biggest problems was the ammount of str provided by the chips, I could no longer mount pa3 until i swapped out a chip for a physics 3 which kinda nerfed other aspects of my setup.
I use a herc and a balastic because the other choices are CRAP!? Marine gives crap strength and almost useless bonuses (compaired with herc), physics gives just strength. Would be nice to have a half decent strength implant other than the MC5's. I'd be happy with:
+5 strength
+10 transport
+10 health
+5 HC/MC
-5/10 (In whatever except movement)
Something like the above would be nice! Just so I don't need a herc ya know! It's really draining on the clan mc5 pool when tanks want 2xMC chips for one character!

One thing going for the 2.2 marines vs physics 3 atm is the resist pierce ... very few imps with that atm.
I actually found myself using the hercules since it is basically better than the marine in every way.
So that makes for mc5 ballistic + mc5 herc + ppr + ff resist chip(used in preference to the others because it gives fire+poison+pierce) as my opinion of a decent brain imp selection.
It's not a very realistic setup for me however since I'm unlikely to get my hands on 2 mc5 chips in retail (my tank is using a moveon+marine which will be awesome once 2.2 hits :lol: ).
