2.2 complaint.

I've been looking into what 2.2 is going to bring to the game. It seems like it will be a good update. I'm new to the game, but what i find crazy about the update is it won't improve stablity. Why update if the game crashes 5 times a night. You would think this would be more important to the game. Last night i must have had 6 or 7 crashes in an hour. I failed a mission and lost credits because of it. I guess i just don't know what game developers are thinking these days. How can the community grow if you can't play the game. I just came back to the game because of the paypal option,Which is a step in the right direction. And before anyone asks, its not my computer thats the problem. These crashes are same ones that everyone has. With the zoning,freezing then runtime errors. Last night was the worse time i've had in the game so far, thats why the post. I needed to vent alittle.

Well... to be fair... 2.2 is about game mechanics and balance, rather than about net coding.

Also, you might want to give us your comp details, connection type and loaction, as this can seriously impact the amount of crashes you get. I for one rarely crash, and that's mostly on exiting the game anyway.

I don't even crash 5 times a day, probably barely 5 times a week. So yeah, it is your computer/net connection.

i crash all the time. basically they made their code compatible with jack shit.

If I use Directx9 graphics dll I crash quite often.

If I use Directx7 graphics dll I crash maybe once a week at most.

For me neocron is plenty stable enough to enjoy it so there must be other reasons for instability besides just the client code.

maybe the coding is compatible more with german computers!!! j/k I use to crash all the fuckin time in nc1 but that was way back when. I havent played in almost 2 years. tbh id rather crash then get the random black sync screen out of no where....

I hardly ever crash, so the problem is most likely at your end.

I rarely fatal, but since i came back near the end of 2.1, i've been getting crashes where my whole computer locks up, even the sound. I end up having to reset my computer :(
