View Full Version : Redesigning the implants
I hope in their redesigning of the implants that they put the gloves back to how they were. I for one really don't like how gloves have to be implanted now. It makes multi purpose chars harder and tradeskilling longer than neccesary as you have to wait for your gloves to come out and be implanted in when swapping them around.
Just my two cents (well pence really)

Yeah, another idea coming with 2.2 that falls in the category "Don't fix it if it ain't broken!"
Cheers to armor and weapon damage balance/changes :)
But all other changes ruin the game for me and are not going to attract more players.
Sad but true
it is my opinion that they did this solely to stop players from using gloves while in vehicles. the thing is the way it is in 2.2 is a headache for everyone pvp and pve. what they should have done was make gloves unuseable while in vehicles (ie. the box turns red so its inactive thing). that would have fixed the whole exploit and no body would have a problem with it :/
didn't even realise there was an exploit involving gloves... well i guess that was a reason to make it this way, but it's still incredibly annoying!!
too bad anyone can just pop a drug or distribute a skill point etc etc to have the same exact thing happen... not to mention pa on/off... blah blah blah.
it is my opinion that they did this solely to stop players from using gloves while in vehicles.i remember a GM(or dev) saying this was one of the reasons, so you're probably right *cough* bandaid fix *cough* and as Safunte said it hasn't even fixed it anyway
Well exactly then change it back. NO ONE is happy with this minor change anyway.
Plus the gloves lose 5% condition every time they are removed, like imps.
Yea this glove thing is just annoying and time consuming..
Me votes for less time sinks!

The first thing a 0/2 monk will ever need to do is hunt around for a poker..
i hadn't even thought of that... fcking rediculous expecting a noob to know to put INT into IMP and for them to find an Imp tool before they can shoot anything........ o_O

There is a novice glove, plus with all the nanite stuff there's going to be more pokers than before now.
