Hello,

There is a small group of developers who have got together under the uneX banner, to share our techniques and experiences developing utilities for NC - Mighty Max's Item GFX Evolution, the uneX Launcher, NSkill and NCal.de (a German language web-based apartment db).

As, prior to this, nobody in the NSkill team was fluent in German, Marc Hoover is acting as the German liason for bug reports, etc. for the English projects within the team.

Mr Brammers and myself are acting as the English liason.

If you have any feedback or comments on the uneX projects, There is now a centralised forum at

http://forum.ultimate-networx.net/

Where we hang out, and try to push things along in a more ordered way.

Also, we have a bug tracker open for all.

http://bugtracker.ultimate-networx.net/

Where some of the more technically minded of you are encouraged to help -you may register there, or use the anonymous login of qa / qa, if you would like to register bugs.

Anyhow, thanks!

Thanks,

Is there any room for more coders to help out with these projects ?

I have adjusted the thread subject to prevent any misunderstandings.

Good to see you guys engaging yourself into this project. Let me know about your progress and I'll try my best to support it.

By all means let us know what languages and experience you have, and I'll let everyone know, although it's not just about coding. I'm a coder myself, but I've been doing testing for some of the projects, and giving all the guys lots of bug reports!

On a side note, the bug tracker at http://bugtracker.ultimate-networx.net/ feel free to post any bugs about the THN (That include errors in the item DB and updates to the guides)

NCal.de (a German language web-based apartment db).

This utility sounds incredibly sexy? Any1 want to elaborate and tell me what this does? :)

It's a website for storing information about your apartments, like the location, what type it is, the password and a little note about what it contains.

You can also then use the Ulitmate Launcher to bring up this information in the console while in game with a / command. Off the top of my head, these commands begin with /ncal but type /help should show you all the commands.

I would kill for a Apartment inventory Database and scanner for NC. By scanner i mean a mod that could record into this Database what i have in a cabinet when i open it, what i sell (leaves my inventory) aswell. Not like the Rares DB which i have also! but that requires alt tabbing to manually input what i have. Think how easy it would be if you simply opened your cabinet and it recorded it for you 8|

Then i could know what i need to build to replace sales in my stock.

Does anyone know how hard it is to keep track of all my dam weapons and imps in my shop?

I have EVERY single Rifle/Pistol/Melee/Heavy both low tech and high tech available to BP in game, Constructed in my appy, all with 2 slots or more.

I have every single Level 2 & 3 Imp / Level 2 & 3 EYES / Trader gloves.

When i sell one i have to note it down so i can get another few built!

Man i need my own Point of Sale system!!!!

There used to be such a tool - however Im not sure how much can be said about it, as said people/clan didnt release it and were banned iirc. Although I too think that an "official tool" which comes through the Unex system to record all the data in a db would be very useful.

Edit: I just looked at the NCal site, very nice idea, and I dont think it would take much work to rewrite most if not all the of the information into good english at the most a night i guess (although if it was done in a nice way then it could just use some nice language files...)

Don't think there is - I'll ask Cortash, (He developed the NCal website)

Currently there is just a german version. The second version of NCAL is in development and will be available in english too.

Then come and join us, you be welcomed!

A little update on NCAL, Cortash is planning work on developing a version of NCAL that will support English.

Any other questions, please feel free to ask.
