Hi, i just had a question. I was wondering if you guys could give me some feedback in either language, and if someone could translate all the german posts.

I want to know, when Belt drops were implemented in warzones for Jupiter, did anything change? What changed and how? I'm just curious because of the state of op wars on Pluto where you can defeat an enemy and they come back 55 million times. I think belt drops should be implemented for pluto as well.

Anyways, i'd love any feedback. :)

Even though the Beltdrop ist more realistic then being able to keep things (if you fight and die you would most likely drop something), I really doubt that that will be implimented on Pluto.

The Beltdrop in Warzones does make people think twice about coming back to often, but I think it just makes people re-sort their inventory before they go somewhere....therefore it doesn't change much.(Or they just make sure that there are enough PPU's tagging along to rezz them :) )

I think that there is a big difference in dispositions between Pluto players and Jupiter players (though there are always exceptions;) ). Pluto players, at least the one's that I know, mostly have the urge to win the game somehow and realism does not cross their mind. Don't get me wrong a large part on Jupiter think the same, but considering that there is a larger minority of RP'ers or people willing to comprimise, there are more people here that allow a little realism even if it's a drawback for themselves in certain situations.

The implementation of "beltdrop" on Jupiter definately improved the situation. An enemy will think twice about attacking an outpost if he knows he might loose some of his stuff. Even if looting rare items is something which does not happen too often, droping a PA is annoying, too. And it does improve the gameplay for hackers, too, since they now have something to do besides hacking outposts and one or two belts in a couple of days. Outposts are suppossed to be danger-zones and not some place where one might venture from time to time to do some minor battle and return later, since all that happens to the people who have to take the genrep is them having to look for a street-doc.

dont do this to pluto...
i've been playing on jupiter and pluto for quiet a long time...

on pluto:
sometimes clans get annoying when they come back after having lost many times... but you kill them and kill them until either of you doesnt wanna fight anymore... but you do have fights with a variety of weapons

on jupiter:
people are afraid of losing any valuable items...
they usually have one rare in their safeslot and some epic weapons (which do not drop).
the best thing you can loot is pa (or some ppu spells...)
hence no variety of weapons used in op battles...
furthermore as ppl are afraid of losing items they simply do not show up at op fights or only if they outnumber the other clan so that a loss is highly improbable.
result is that you keep standing in the middle of nowhere waiting for the enemy to show up (which wont happen) and then realizing the next morning that your op had been taken over while you were asleep...
op fights on jupiter are no fun compared to pluto
