We are still targeting the international release at March 25th (i.e. the last Friday in the quarter). The only outstanding issue we have is an ongoing discussion with PEGI over the game's rating and associated printed "icons" illustrating the level of violence, sex, swearing etc. This still needs to be resolved which is preventing us from printing the package inlays and this is likely to push everything back by a couple of weeks.

Everything else is ready to go though so we don't anticipate any further slippage. Unfortunately we can't just re-use the NC1 rating, even though our strippers are less "exposed" now.

Why are you discussing it with them? Everyone knows that all those rating systems are just good for advertisment, just put all the icons on the box, 18+, violence, bad language, fear, sex, drugs and discrimination.

Everyone knows that a rap record without the "parental advisory" sticker on it sucks. Same thing with games, no violence, no drugs, no sex - no fun. You're not targeting the "let's sit around the camp fire and sing Kumbaya"-crowd anyway. They all went to WoW.

We can't just refuse to cooperate with PEGI, nor would we wish to avoid our responsibilities in this area. We don't work that way and neither do 10tacle or Atari.

No patch is planned for this week to my knowledge.

Ok, just to get this right, I gotta re-re-re-ask the obvious questions:

In NC2 as of now, you cannot have a name that violates the "RoC"? Yet in game you can:

- View softcore pornography in various sectors of the game, in the forms of red hue view screens with clearly visible nude females.

- Participate in Epic Missions and other Missions/Quests/Events where sexual themes are included (including I believe it's ironically, the BD epic where a gangbang video is a semi-large part of that epics storyline)

- The aforementioned various clubs such as the Pussy Club that even KK mentions in announcements and patch notes, and see NPC's sitting down in private booths recieving lapdances.

- See female NPC's completely naked except for a thong and two pieces of scotch tape over their nipples.

- If you have yet to see a erotic female dancer or stripper in game, please raise your hand. Ok since there are no hands raised... (by these I mean most of the female dancers, fully clothed ones and scantly clad ones as well)


I don't mean to come off as rude or trolling but seriously some names are rather innocent and very very tame that some people worry will be forced to change. And yet the above mentioned things are considered ok and legal within the game?

The international release will be coming with new features such as a modified newbie experience and item tracking that I know of so far. More information will be given as and when it's known.
