Also, why the SA? Why not just Neural Advance 3?

The Combat Hovertec is an insanely overpowered weapon, the best vehicle in the game for anything other than firemobbing.
The other day, I was at the Bunker leveling with a Combat Hovertec. This gives me rank 18/34. A rank 54/60 PE with a Liberator comes up and starts shooting at the same mobs. I was out-damaging him over the same amount of time. And I'm nowhere near close to capping damage on it! I dread to think how much damage a tank would do with one of these. I've got about 90 points in WEP, and I don't think I've capped range on it, yet, either, because it keeps going up. I out-range Warbots with ease. At about 90 WEP, it about matches the range on a Liberator, too. And of course, it sacrifices no speed or mobility. It's still far faster than capped runspeed on a character on foot, and turns almost as fast as a character with maximum mouse sensitivity. So in other words, what we have here is a vehicle that almost any low-level character can operate (although non-PEs may have to do a bunch of missions first to raise their harder to raise stats) that outshoots and outranges a capped low-tech pistol PE or spy. What's more, no matter what your combat rank was before you climb onto it, your combat rank locks at about 18, which means that you get just insane XP and loot. Yes, it's expensive. Yes, it's expensive to repair. Yes, it's somewhat fragile. It also seems a bit slower to aim than a Liberator, than any other ranged weapon really I guess. No, I don't want it nerfed, I'm having far too much fun with it. I do know that the combat rank on it is way too low, but then, that's true of heavy-combat tanks, too. I will say that I expect that when people get a taste of what these things are like, everybody will want one. Sick thought: a two-PPU team on Combat Hovertecs hunting Warbots. They're invulnerable to damage. They can use soul clusters to distract mobs while they dismount to cast damage boost, then zoom back to the Hovertec's optimum firing range. They cap DEX and CON at record speed from their own weapon fire. They cap INT and PSI at record speed from the other person's weapon fire. And they make money hand over fist from farming for rare parts. Unrelated Vehicle Question: Given that no vehicle requires DEX, only INT and sometimes STR, why do all vehicle implants boost DEX? Yes, i love that vehicle too.
My PE travels on it a lot, and once i accidentaly ran into two spies and an apu traveling on hover and red car. They all died and their vehicles were blown up. It's slower than a normal hovertech but it's still faster than any other vehicle. Downside is the insane rate of fire, as it consumes shitloads of ammo. |

Here you go, couple of pictures of the DoY Bomber, and one of the Glider. Feel free to edit/use them for your excellet vehicle guide!
As for the DoY Carrier, I've got a couple of shots somewhere, but I can't find it anywhere. |

A couple of things I would add:
ER Combat Chaincraft: Because it's the first vehicle with guns, this is the first vehicle that a Driver can gain XP from actually driving; until then they have to gain XP from combat on foot. Also, because of its low requirements, it is the easiest vehicle for a spy or a monk to cap stats on, and so for them it will actually out-range and out-damage an ER Combat Hovertec. Its other advantage over the ER Combat Hovercraft is that it is about three times cheaper to repair. The angle of fire is somewhat narrow, about 45 degrees total. The speed and maneuverablity are OK, but not great. ER Combat Hovertec: In combat it acts like a much faster, much more maneuverable, much more expensive to repair version of the ER Combat Chaincraft. The angle of fire is much, much broader, a little over 180 degrees. That's right, it can actually shoot all the way to the driver's left or right. ER Assault Bike: I would add to your description of it, because it will come as a surprise to most people, that the range is merely mediocre, actually less than the range on the other two combat bikes. But the biggest drawback of this bike is that it is just mind-bogglingly terribly awfully slow; most characters are faster on foot. Also, it's equally terribly unmaneuverable, which is a real problem because the angle of fire is very narrow, no more than maybe 30 degrees, probably less. (I can't shake the suspicion that the speed and maneuverability are bugged; they can't possibly have meant it to be this slow, can they?) HH4x4 Chaincraft: You should warn people that the driver and passenger compartment offers little or no protection against attacks from the sides. Reveler Chaincraft: I would add to your description that it has better armor than the HH4x4, is faster than the HH4x4, and climbs hills a little better. |

OK, one correction to my own corrections, above. Oops.
I don't know what went wrong when I tried it before, but now I'm getting a smidgen over 180 degree angle of fire from the ER Combat Chaincraft, too. |

Images all up now. Also, the Carrier/APC bug DOES appear to be fixed, which is cool. And yeah, Ihave had a full 360 degree arc of fire on the combat chain before now.

The carrier bug fixed?
Try zoning a carrier with pilot, gunner and 4 passengers twice and then tell me it's fixed. |

Regular hoverbike or combat? The combat version is only available from members of NEXT (in Neocron City) with 90 faction sympathy. You can get the non-combat version from a smuggler in Twilight Guardian sector, or from the ASG dealership in the Military Base, or from the vehicle vendor in Tech Haven.
